UPDATE! :D I went to see my dad after church today!

He is doing a lot better, he’s back from the brink which is AMAZING because it was a scary couple of days where his temp was so high it was worrying as to how long he’d last. He was very cheery, but a little tired and fed up of being couped up inside the ward for a week…

Thank you all so so much for your prayers! Our whole family appreciates it, and my dad sends his love and appreciation to you all! :) When I get to see him next, I will try and get a picture of he and I together to show you, hopefully when he eventually gets home again!

He’s able to stand and walk around a little now since the operation and he is okay to wash himself etc.. It’s great to see the life back in his cheeks! Thank you all again, so much!

[[[Also, just a little thing: Something crazy happened on visiting today involving one of the other patients using a zimmer frame to smash through the double plated windows on my dads ward on the 7th floor to try and jump out because he wanted to go home… Dad managed to get him to stop eventually and security guards and nurses calmed him down and such… was very scary, but he’s okay now too.]]]

    This Girl is 18 tomorrow…

But when she  was born she was very ill. She was born with the cord wrapped tightly around her neck, strangling her till she turned blue and couldn’t breathe. Thankfully, the doctors acted quickly to pull her lifeless body out and resuscitate it.

When she was just a couple of months, she feel incredibly ill and the doctors really had no hope for her on surviving, and when her heart stopped they were at a loss, and thought she was a goner. No one knew what would happen, but all expecting that this little girl would not be able to be brought back from the brink of death.

God, however, was not about to let one of his children to go. To the surprise of everyone, she came back, making a full recovery even when they thought there was no way of resuscitating or saving her. God however, knew just how to do this; saving her in more than just one way.

Her life was changed immensely from this day forward. There was a high chance of her suffering from a mental or physical disability due to the fact her brain was starved of oxygen when her body started to die, but nothing significant seems to have been effected, by the grace of God! She has a slight neurological problem, which may have been due to this early trauma however it’s not been proven as is only a minor bother.

Other than that and a few more hiccups along the way, she is a healthy and happy almost 18 year old.

She wouldn’t have made it if it wasn’t for the hands of God that kept her safe and healed her broken body and mind. She wouldn’t have made it if God hadn’t set out more plans for her life; given her a purpose and a reason to be on this earth. A reason to pull through and survive.

She has battled with various illnesses throughout her life, including developing rheumatoid arthritis at the age of 9, which she was healed from at the age of 16 by God’s grace.

Each year, when her birthday comes round, people ask her what is the best thing about the year that has past; and her answer? The fact that God has kept her going, throughout everything that has happened in her life. All the illness and pain as well as the personal battles she’s had to fight, God has been in all of them. There have been many other times where God could have taken her life, but he hasn’t taken those opportunities? Why? Because he has a plan for her. And she is so incredibly greatful for this, especially as she gets conformation everyday because by the grace of God, she is still able to wake up each morning.

He has a plan for me.

He has a plan for all of us.

18 years later than my birth, I still know God has a purpose for my life. Yeah, I may be in pain sometimes, or feel tired or sick, but I would rather feel this than the numbness of not knowing that God has a purpose for my life and he is preparing me for that, every waking moment of my life; just like he has for you.

    God bless!

    God you are my provider!

Again. The love and power of God’s provision has made itself clear in my life and in that of my family also. I can not even begin to explain how much he provides for us!

Again, as some of you may know, our boiler died last week and so we’ve had a house where there is no heating and so we’ve been living, at times, in below freezing temperatures.

Today the boiler man came out to try and fix it again, but we knew it would cost even more money this time to fix it. We had no money to give him for it just yet and so we had to write a cheque in faith that we will get the finance to pay for it.

Today, through the door, came an envelope. Blank. and inside was just enough money to cover the cost of the boiler.

Lord, thank you so much! I can’t even explain how happy I was, I rang my mum and told her, and I started crying. I was late to my lesson as well but I don’t really care because I was too overwhelmed by God’s grace and provision!

    Hallelujah! :D Thank you, Lord!

    College and God:

    I take three A Levels:

Health and Social Care, Theatre Studies & English Literature

As almost all course work is done and dusted and the exams are pressing in, it means we are doing a lot more work as classes and it means we often having discussions and debates too while learning.

My friends and I have all stated how we’re going to be ‘loud mouths’ for God, in the sense that when the moment arises, instead of shying away, we will go for it and talk about God and spread the gospel when an opportunity arises without leaving the opportune moment to pass by! Today I noticed something…

Each class I take offers me moments to talk about God to everyone!

In Health and Social care, we’re starting to learn the biology part and that opens up ways that I can talk to people about how awesome the body is, the way it all functions so perfectly together and how no man could ever create something so beautiful and precise and PERFECT! How everything is so unique and well placed that it just works! DIRECT link to God right there!!

English Literature, at the moment, we are looking at the Gothic aspects of novels etc. The use of the supernatural as well as the link between Gothic realism and Religion means that the idea of God and ‘higher power’ is often a part of our class discussions! Again! Perfect chances!

And finally Theatre: My teacher was brought up a Catholic and so often rambles on about his days back when he used to attend church etc and often strikes up interesting conversations that my class participate their thoughts in. Again, another amazing chance to reach out!

I am so  blessed to be able to have all of these opportunities in the palm of my hand where I can tell people about God in my college!! THANK YOU LORD!!!

It annoys me when people think that the Bible is anti woman’s rights. Men and women simply have different responsibilities but this does not make them unequal.

We are the body of Christ, we’re just all different parts. We all do different things for the glory of God.

Good Morning! Today is going to be a God filled day!

Shine your light, I wanna feel you now, God I need a miracle take my heart; make it glow.

Giving God your fears is not showing you are too weak, it’s knowing God is so much stronger.

    Tonight!

After returning home from our weekly home group church meeting, I had time to reflect on what happened tonight. It was incredible. We had a great time of worship and praising God for a good 45 minutes non stop! Then we followed with a word and a few questions about the passage we had been looking at on Sunday and THEN! We split into two smaller groups of 5 and prayed for each other, however by the time the other group finished, It was my turn, so in this crowded small living room, my small group all bunched in and prayed for me and over me.

It is sage to say that I am pumped up and ready to take on anything with God by my side. I had prophesies and words of guidance and direction, pictures and visions. It was perfect. God has revealed so much to me tonight and I can not wait for tomorrow! I want to shout it out. I was in tears in the middle of the room, shaking and just completely overwhelmed by God’s love and hold on me - it was almost tangible.

I could feel hands all over my back and arms, on my shoulders and occassionally on my head, but most of all I could feel a deep bounding reverbarating through my heart. I was stunned. I was happy! I was being filled a new.

    Hallelujah!

SATAN! COME AT ME WITH ALL YOU HAVE! I CAN TAKE IT. I CAN PUSH YOU DOWN AS MY GOD DEFEATED YOU. YOU HAVE NO HOLD ON ME. I AM GOD’S CHILD AND I AM NOT A PAWN IN YOUR PATHETIC GAMES!!!

    Amazing day!

Nothing like spending ages in your English lesson telling your whole class, non of which are christian, about how the ‘flaws’ they believe are in Christianity are infact solvable.. I was so happy to be able to show them the truth! even if it was just for about 20 minutes of a lesson on a Thursday afternoon! :D GOD IS GREAT!!! <3 Hallelujah :P

Love came down and rescued me, love came down and set me free - I am yours, Lord
